How can the purser’s
desk help?
Questions about a voyage, your boarding documents, or something that happened aboard?
support@Include your device, its system version, whether you were on a solo or online voyage, and what happened. A screenshot helps. Never send a password or a sign-in code.
Getting aboard
A new voyage starts at Port Verity, the cruise terminal, with check-in and the walk up the gangway. Sail as a guest, or sign on as crew in housekeeping, food and beverage, entertainment, deck or guest services.
Solo voyages are entirely on your device and need no account or connection.
Controls
On Mac: WASD to walk, Shift to run, drag to look, E to interact, Q for the next action, M for the minimap and Esc for the menu. On iPhone and iPad: the left stick to walk and drag to look. A gamepad works on every device.
Settings lists the controls for your device. Turn off Ship motion under Comfort if the gentle roll at sea bothers you.
Online voyages
Under Online, sound and check-in on the main menu, turn on Join an online shard to share a ship with other players. Other guests see the name you choose, your look, where you are aboard and what you say in Ship Chat.
At the check-in desk you’ll be asked for boarding documents: sign in with Apple, Google, a passkey or a code sent to your email.
Safety aboard
Tap or long-press a name in Ship Chat to mute, block or report that guest, or stand in front of someone for a prompt. The stateroom phone takes reports too. A blocked guest leaves your view, your chat and your door.
A report carries the ship’s own record of the last half hour, so you don’t need screenshots.
Deleting your account
In Settings, open Boarding documents and choose Delete account…. The page says what goes and what stays before anything happens. It can’t be undone, and it never touches your solo voyages.
Your passport
Shows, dinners, excursions and crew work earn stamps in your Voyage Passport. If you’re signed in to Game Center, each stamp is also an achievement there; Merrimar never asks you to sign in to it.
Your face, from a photo
In the mirror, Face from a photo sets your character’s face shape and skin tone from a picture you take or choose. The picture is read once on your device and let go: it’s never saved, sent or shown in the game.
People who talk back
On devices with Apple Intelligence turned on, the ship’s characters answer you with Apple’s on-device model. Elsewhere they use the game’s written lines. Either way, conversations stay on your device.
